1. Hay algún costo adicional?
No. No existen costos adicionales. Lo que usted mira listado en nuestro sitio web, es el costo que es facturado.

2. Cuánto demora en activar mi cuenta?

5. Yo no poseo una tarjeta de crédito, qué otros métodos de pago disponen?
Por el momento, aceptamos pagos con tarjeta de crédito y e-checks. Nuestras plataformas de pago son 2CheckOut, Paypal y StormPay.
Si paga con un e-check, el pago debe ser completado antes de la activación de la cuenta.

6. Can I upgrade my account at any time?
Yes. To upgrade/downgrade your account, please email us at support@netlinecorp.com.

7. Do I have to sign a contract?
No. We do not require our clients to sign a contract, but all clients are required to agree to our Terms of Service.

8. What happens if I go over my bandwidth?
When you are getting close to your bandwidth amount, we will contact and let you know. You can then decide if you want to upgrade your account, or want to pay for extra bandwidth.

9. How much does additional bandwidth cost?
Additional bandwidth costs $2 dollars per every Gigabyte, per month.

10. What happens if you upgrade plans after I have ordered?
If we upgrade plans after you ordered, your account will not be touched. That means that if we raise the price, your price will still be what you first ordered it. However, when you renew your package OR order another package, you will be charged the current fee. Normally, our prices go down when changes are needed.

11. Can I have more than one domain under one account?
No, we currently do not offer this option.

12. Do you do parked domains ?
Yes, you can have up to 10 parked domains on any account.

13. Can I have subdomains off my domain name?
No. Your subdomains must be inside your domain name.

14. Can I register a domain with you? Will you register it for me?
Yes, we can register your domain for you for a charge of $9.99 (.com, .net, .org) and $2.99 (.info). We will register the domain name for you and list you as the owner.

15. Do you allow php scripts?
Yes we do allow php scripts. Currently we support Php4.

16. Do you allow CGI scripts?
Yes we do allow CGI Scripts. Place the scripts in your cgi-bin outside the httpdoc folder.

17. Do you allow ASP Scripts?
No, our plans do NOT come with ASP.

18. Do you support MySQL?
Yes we do support MySQL. MySQL is included with all of the plans. Number of databases allowed, depends on plan

19. Do you support Frontpage extensions?
Yes, we do provide frontpage 2000 extensions for those clients who use frontpage at no extra cost, available for all of the plans. To have this feature turned on, just open a ticket with your requeriment.


20. Do I get a control panel? Is there a user's guide?
Yes you do get a control panel. It's interface is very easy to use and understand. You can download a full manual here.

21. Can I host a Warez or Adult site?
No! We do NOT accept Warez or Adult sites!

22. Do you allow MP3 sites?
No.

23. Do you allow IRC Channels/Bots/Clients?
No. Any client caught running a IRC Channel/bot/client on our servers will have their account terminated.

24. Do you allow chatrooms?
Yes, but be warned...chatrooms can hog massive bandwidth and cpu resources.

25. Will you install a CGI/PHP script for me?
Yes, we can do that, at an extra cost. Please contact sales@netlinecorp.com.

 

General Account Questions

 

1. Can I upgrade my account?
Of course you can! Simply email us at support@netlinecorp.com with what you would like to upgrade and we'll tell you how much it costs.

2. My domain hasn't updated yet, but is there a way I can preview my site?
There is a link in your Welcome letter that will allow you to see the site before it resolves. It normally takes 24 to 72 hours.

3. Where is my control panel located at?
To access your control panel, go to support page, and use the tool on the left.

4. How can I view my stats?
To view your stats, go to your control panel and locate the Statistics block.

5. How do I upload my site?
To upload your site, you need to use a FTP Program (ie. WS_FTP, Cute_FTP) and FTP to yourdomain.com (or IP #_ with your username/password.)

6. I've uploaded my site but the welcome page is still showing, how come?
Upload you files to the public_html folder and they will be viewable.

7. How can I add/delete an email address?

  • Locate the Mail Block
  • Click on the Manage accounts button.
  • Put in the desired username and password. You can also set mailbox size (set 0 to unlimited).
  • Press the "Create Account" button.

10. How do I retrive my email?
To retrive your email, you need to use a pop3 email program, like Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora Mail.
Set up your Pop3 Server as mail.yourdomain.com
You can also use the webmail interface.

11. How do I change my MX Records?
Open a ticket with your request. The change costs $5, one time setup fee.

12. How do I create a subdomain?
Go to the subdomains section, in your Control Panel.

13. Where is Perl located?
Perl is located at /usr/bin/perl

14. Where is my cgi-bin folder?
Place your scripts in the cgi-bin folder, inside the public_http folder.

15. Do you support Php?
Yes we do! We currently have php4 installed.

16. Do you support ASP?
No, we do not support ASP.

17. Do you have MySQL installed?
Yes, we do have MySQL installed and all of our packages comes with a number of MySQL databases available.

18. How do I access my MySQL Database?
This can be access through your control panel.

19. How can I SSH to my site?
We do not offer SSH access.

20. How do I setup a parked domain?
Go to the parked domains section, in your Control Panel.

21. Help! My site has been suspended! What do I do?
Please contact us at billing@netlinecorp.comto find out the exact reason. It could be because you violated our Terms of Service or because payment has not been received.

22. Do you offer backups?
We make daily backups to our servers, however, we're not responsible for your data. There is backup tool provided in your Control Panel.

23. I would like to cancel my account.
To cancel your account, please send an e-mail at billing@netlinecorp.com.

24. What is the location of sendmail?
Sendmail is located at /usr/sbin/sendmail

25. How come I am recieving a 500 Internal Error on my scripts?
You can recieve a 500 Internal Error for many reasons. Make sure your scripts are pointing to the right location to perl (/usr/bin/perl) and you have chmod it to 755.

26. Do you provide SSI (Server Side Included)?
Yes we do support SSI.

27. What is the path to my home directory?
Web Folder -
/usr/local/home/~yourdomain.com/public_http
CGI-Bin - /usr/local/home/~yourdomain.com/public_http/cgi-bin

28. Where do I point my domain to?
We have more than one set of nameservesr depending on what server you are on. Please check your welcome letter for the correct nameservers for the server that you are on.

29. How do I create a custom 404 error page?
Log in to you Control Panel, and locate the area for it.

30. How can I create a password protected directory?
This can easily be done in the control panel by using the password protect option.

31. How long does it take for my domain to work?
Once you point your domain to our servers, please allow 24-72 hours for your domain to work. If after 72 hours, your domain is still not functioning, please contact us.

32. I'm having trouble with FTP. It connects, but doesn't allow me to see the files on the server.
Check your FTP program and make sure you are connecting to the server in active mode and not Passive.

33. What order does the server load default pages?
